EMESCO Monod Schüler & Co was established on the initiative of Henri Monod in 1996.

Henri MONOD left the HOECHST Group in 1994 after completing his mandates as CEO and Chairman. In 1992, he was appointed Representative of the TREUHANDANSTALT in France and in 1994, Representative of BERLIN and BRANDENBURG in France.

Jean-Thierry SCHÜLER was born in Cologne (Germany), is bi-cultural and bi-lingual in French and German. After studying law, he was recruited by Henri Monod in 1993 to assist him in his mission for the TREUHANDANSTALT. In 1994, he followed Henri Monod when he created the BERLIN BRANDENBURG Representation in France. In 1996, he became a partner in EMESCO Monod Schüler & Co.
